The Case
With the realisation that young people between the ages of 18-25 years only count up to 26% of the consumer group of NU.nl, the large news agency approached students at the TU Delft to propose a solution. As my bachelor final project I analysed the problem, developed concepts, iterated on these and conceptualised this final product which could be implemented by NU.nl within 2 months. 
The new concept redefines the news brand's graphic design system and introduces new content such as daily updates in 'NU vandaag' and a sustainability news column as 'NU groei'. The redesign focusses on presenting the latest news in a more concise, reliable and clear form on social media. 76% of the interviewed target audience has a preference for this redesign of NU.nl's identity on social media.
